British Canoeing Awarding Body (BCAB) who are regulated by Ofqual, Qualification Wales, CCEA and CIMSPA are responsible for ensuring qualifications and awards offered to the paddling community are current, aligned to the requirements of the industry and accessible.
Comprehensive reviews are scheduled and involve gaining insight and feedback from a variety of resources, including learners, deployers, paddlesport activity providers, and industry experts.
