British Canoeing Awarding Body regulated qualifications have been recognised and endorsed by the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA)
CIMSPA is the representative, professional development body for the whole of the UK’s Sport and Physical Activity sector with a primary objective to “define and facilitate professional development”. British Canoeing Awarding Body works closely with related regulated organisations, including CIMSPA, Ofqual, Qualification Wales and the CCEA to provide assurances to learners and those deploying Paddlesport Instructors, Coaches and Leaders that they receive high quality provision, assessment standardisation and industry designed content.
The following regulated qualifications and training are endorsed by CIMSPA:

- Level 1 BCAB Paddlesport Instructor Award
- Level 3 BCAB Coach Award
- Level 4 BCAB Performance Coach Award
