British Canoeing Awarding Body (BCAB) is opening up applications to join the BCAB Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) Technical Group. This provides a great opportunity for anyone involved in Stand Up Paddleboarding to support and provide advice specifically on the development of qualifications/awards and safety matters for SUP.
BCAB is the only paddlesport awarding organisation recognised and regulated by Ofqual, Qualification Wales, CCEA and the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA), alongside the recognition by Sport England of our National Governing Body status for SUP.
There are two voluntary positions available that will join other members of the SUP Technical Group to review current programmes and content as well as consider other projects.
The commitment will be to attend approximately 4-6 online meetings per year.
