You earn 10 CPD points by completing this British Canoeing Awarding Body eLearning on Safer Recruitment. These will be added to your National Association record after successful completion.

The Safer Recruitment eLearning is not a Safeguarding course or a recruitment course. It focuses on the importance of including measures in your recruitment process to deter, reject or identify people who might abuse or may not be suitable to work with the children or Adults at Risk your organisation provides services for. If you recruit volunteers to work with vulnerable groups, you will need to follow the same kind of process although it may need to be adapted to be more informal.
