Personal Performance Award eLearning

This three-module eLearning is for BCAB qualified Instructors, Coaches and Leaders. It supports Providers with the delivery of the BCAB Personal Performance Awards and enables aspirant Providers to start working towards becoming a Provider. The modules give a range of information about how Providers can support paddlers and all the information they need to know about the Awards.

Code of Conduct for Coaching Workforce

This free 20-minute eLearning supports Coaches, Leaders, Instructors and participants in understanding the Paddle UK Code of Conduct for Coaching Workforce. Coaches play a key role in the lives of those they coach and the Code of Conduct applies to all those who help others achieve their goals through paddlesport.

Buoyage Awareness

Aimed at anyone paddling on coastal waters in a sea kayak or other craft, this 20-minute eLearning gives an introduction to buoys and markers. Essential for staying safe at sea, the module covers how to recognise multiple types of buoys by their colours, shapes, lights and location.

This course provides an introduction to weather patterns and events around the world, explaining the main drivers that determine the weather on a seasonal and daily basis.

This 10-module eLearning supports anyone taking part in or thinking about the Paddlesport Instructor or SUP Instructor courses, which are a great first step for those looking to deliver safe and enjoyable taster/starter sessions based on a group’s needs and aspirations. The eLearning takes about 4 hours to complete and provides practical skills as well as advice on how to deliver safe, enjoyable and rewarding sessions.

100th episode of the Coaching Podcast

In May, we celebrated a very special episode of the Coaching Podcast, as we reached the 100th episode. 

The Coaching Podcast has had over 35,000 downloads, with 74% of downloads from the UK. We also have listeners in 70 different countries, including the United States, Denmark and Germany, as well as Greenland, Azerbaijan and Zimbabwe!

Hugely successful, in 2023 the podcast won Podcast of the Year at the UK Coaching Awards. This could not be done without our inspiring and enthusiastic guests who give up their time to appear on the episodes. We have had 79 different guests over the seasons, with many people giving up their time to appear on multiple episodes.
