A key aim of the England Talent Canoe Slalom Programme Strategy 2021-25 is to work towards achieving a balance across gender and classes by 2025. In support of this aim, Adam Johnstone (Southern Regional Pathway Coach) will be hosting a series of webinars to bring coaches together to share their collective knowledge and experience with the intention of helping to develop Canoe coaching skills at a club level.

During this webinar Adam discussed the three principles to consider around coaching the canoe class, understanding your craft, what to think about when ordering boats, methods to personalize shared boats, information on straps and how they are introduced.
